RAISE CRAZE KICK OFF ASSEMBLY
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 8:30 AM

Parents and Grandparents are invited to join us for this special kick-off of our incredible Raise Craze Event this Fall!

Spotlight

Special thanks to this year’s Secondary Students (7th – 12th grade) Washington DC Trip Coordinator, Melissa Rushdoony.  The 2025 Libertas Academy Washington DC Trip is June 8 (evening) – June 14.  More information coming soon!

High School

Our 9th – 12th grade students welcomed 7th – 8th grade to our fourth annual First Friday Event for Secondary Students last Friday.  They traveled to White Pines Lake and enjoyed team-building activities including a build-a-cardboard-boat competition.  Special thanks to all of our Secondary Teachers and parents for chaperoning and making sure the 60+ Libertas members had a safe and fabulously fun day!

Academics

“Always give the students academic rigor, for if you don’t they will think you believe them to be stupid and they will never perform for you.” – Mary Swanson. As we move into the second week of school, our students are already studying the Great Books and encountering challenging math concepts.

Athletics

XC Middle School and High School Athletes will continue training this week for upcoming meets. In our PE program, students TK – 12th grade will be focusing on mobility drills, standing core routine, basketball sports drill, and learning about hydration.

Be Careful What You Cultivate

Cultivating anything can happen either intentionally or accidentally. Here at Libertas Academy, we are deliberately working to cultivate virtue in our students and in ourselves. To find out more about what that looks like, we invite you to read the most recent blog post from our Head of School, Holly Kalton.
